Christmas Cosmopolitan To Warm Your Holidays

Upgrade your holiday hosting with this festive twist on the classic Cosmopolitan.

While the traditional Cosmo is a year-round favorite, this Christmas Cosmo riff brings the flavors of the season to your glass. By swapping the usual simple syrup for a homemade rich rosemary syrup and upping the cranberry profile, we create a cocktail that smells like a winter forest and tastes like holiday cheer. It’s the perfect balance of tart, sweet, and herbal and it looks stunning with a snowy sugared rim.

How to Make It

1. Chill & Combine

Place a martini or coupe glass in the freezer for a few minutes. Add the vodka, triple sec, cranberry juice, rosemary syrup, and fresh lime juice into a cocktail shaker.

2. The Shake

Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds until the outside of the tin is frosty.

3. Strain & Garnish

Strain the mixture into your chilled glass. Add a sprig of rosemary (give it a clap between your hands first to release the oils!), a few fresh cranberries, and a lime wheel.
